Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who manfully hauls.

All Very Hush-Hush
Sinder scanned the slip of paper with Stately House’s wifi password with far more interest than the tray Jacques had manfully hauled up three flights.
“Tea?”
“Sure.” The dragon shoved the paper into his back pocket. “Nothing better to do.”
Time to fish for information. “You’re meant to be clever, oui?”
“Very.”
“Then keep me from blundering.” He poured and passed petit fours. “Who knows about you?”
“You. Argent. Juuyu.” He shrugged. “Hisoka, of course.”
Jacques frowned. “That’s all?”
“Didn’t I mention that my job’s covert in nature?” With a smirk, he emulated Hisoka’s usual inflection. “I’m sure I did.”

I am loving Sinder so much! Poor Jacques! Three floors! They need an elevator or at least a dumb waiter for him. 🤣🥰

My bet, there is one, but Argent has it warded and Jacques hasn’t found out yet.
