Chapter 192: Persuasive
“Your brother left me in charge of getting us back,” said Kohaku.
Surprising. Inuyasha barely let Sesshoumaru out of his sight. Once upon a time, he’d have been glad to be free of the hanyou.
“I persuaded him,” added Kohaku.
“Hnn.”
“Shishi is strong enough to travel if I set an easy pace.”
Sesshoumaru inclined his head.
“There are many routes we could take.”
What was the boy leading up to?
“So I was wondering.” Kohaku’s attention took on a new feeling—hopeful, wistful, kind. “Would you like to go there? To the place where Rin and Jaken are buried?”

Lots of depth here. Feelings are hard for the top dog. He’s used to keeping a lid on them. I can’t think of anyone better than Kohaku to lead him through all this.
