Chapter 176: Staggered
Although she couldn’t possibly go back to sleep, Kagome stayed where she was, tucked up against Sesshoumaru, trying to make sense of her own moods.
She wished she could check her colors. That might make them easier to chart.
Was she mint? Or a middling blue?
Maybe this was more of a pink situation. Yes, she could definitely be all kinds of pink, especially the deep rosy hues leading to magenta.
Was this really Sesshoumaru? Maybe Kohaku had known, but she was quietly staggered. And intrigued by this glimpse of a Sesshoumaru she hadn’t known before—private and intensely personal.

The clue bird is hatching. Kagome is always so sweetly oblivious at times and then extremely astute. I think it’s one of her more endearing traits. Lovely chapter.
