Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one whose words can sway.

Demanding Bedfellow
Lapis really did talk in his sleep. And without his usual inhibitions.
Jacques emerged from a pleasant haze to discover his shirt missing.
Hisoka was back, reading in the chair.
“Did he…?” Jacques was almost afraid to ask. “Did we…?
“You obliged an entirely innocent request.” Hisoka smiled. “He likes skin-to-skin contact.”
Jacques rolled his eyes. “Dragons are demanding bedfellows.”
“Yet you’ve accepted him with open arms.” Hisoka closed his book and shed his tunic. “You may slip away and attend to your needs.”
He tried to wriggle free, but Lapis murmured, “Silly boy, don’t go.”
So Jacques stayed. Happily.

Oh Jacques! You protest too much! I think you are quite happy right where you are. It’s nice to see him happy…both of them actually. Lapis seems very content.
