Jacques was less concerned with who did the catching, so long as the outcome was mutually satisfactory. Relinquishing his death grip, he dared to rest his head against Argent’s shoulder. “Never let go. Especially not now, but also never.”
Argent hummed. “Speaking of claims, did you know the wolves have a nickname for you?”
“Mark said he’d give me one.”
“Did you imagine that he forgot?”
“Nobody mentioned it.”
“I am mentioning it.”
“Why you?”
“Because your nickname is allusive. I will protest on your behalf if it offends you.”
Intrigued, Jacques asked, “What does my nickname allude to?”
“Me.”
