Clumsy Prompts

In the footer of every Clumsy update, I record the original posting date, the writing prompt, and the word count. If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll notice that the first half of Clumsy was written all the way back in 2011 (during Dokuga’s Drabble/Drawble Nights). At the time of this posting, we’re nearly caught up. Brand new chapters will begin soon … and I’d appreciate a little prompting!

This is the place to suggest a prompt for future Clumsy chapters. If I use yours, I’ll credit your suggestion. Here’s what I need:

  1. A one-word prompt
  2. Your name/penname/preferred pseudonym

Say! Did you know that each of the Drabble/Drawble Nights had a game wrapped up within the prompts themselves? They were revealed one at a time at intervals throughout the evening, and they were all clues to a central theme. People could PM the host to see if they guessed right. If you go back and do a reread, see if you can guess the theme for each night. ::twinkle::

    Hello Forthright!
I am Dawning aurora. I have loved all your SessKags’. They are everything I wish my writing could be (I will keep working until they are as refined and elegant as yours). You have a knack for writing Sessoumaru that makes him so much more nuanced and incredible than the stoic, wordless portrayals seen elsewhere. I am in awe of your skill and the way you managed dokuga on LJ. I dug up the hardest, strangest words I could. I hope they prove to be worthy of your efforts.
