Dazzle Tier and Up. I forgot to mention here that the art cards for October are extra special. To celebrate this month’s release of a Russian-language edition of Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox, I received permission from the publisher to use the cover art (by @artovbros). These 5×7″ prints have a pearl shimmer treatment. (So shiny!) If you want this Argent, go peruse the tier options on Patreon. Sparkle tier patrons, whose perk includes mail every other month, can expect to see this blaze-baring Argent in their mailboxes in November.

Updated! Bard & Barbarian has updated over on my Patreon with Ch69: “Toll,” because there is one. Also, this marks the end of Part 2 of Bard & Barbarian. Next month, Imber will set out with new goals.

NEW Patreon Feature. There’s a new thing going on over on Patreon, designed to help creators build their audience. In short, you can now follow me there … for free. What does this do? Right now, not a whole lot, since I use this blog to announce most everything. But if I post anything publicly for my audience on Patreon, you’ll know.
Story access (Bard & Barbarian, Kimiko and the Cycle of Moons) will remain perks for patrons who join a tier. Same goes for regular mailings & access to Travis Baldree’s narration.
Coop and the Elderbough Trackers will stay here. And I’m giving myself time to consider how to do something different for Patreon … so that following there (for free) isn’t redundant to this blog. Maybe I’ll sort something out for next year. Do you have ideas?
In the meantime, Patreon wants to grow audiences, become an essential social network, and lure you in. So follow me there. I mean, hey … it’s free! ::twinkle::

Narrated Edition. Bard and Barbarian has been posting slow and steady over on my Patreon account. Reading along is great, but supporters on some tiers can now listen along. The story is being narrated by Travis Baldree. Ch61, “Portals and Plots” just went live for those in qualifying tiers. AND Ch57, “Picklock” has unlocked for the Twinkle and Sparkle tiers.

New narrated chapters will arrive every other Wednesday, which means … there’s always something more to look forward to! Learn more about my Patreon here >>

You Mean That
Ongoing! This subscription story is posting on my Patreon account. You can catch each chapter as the novel unfolds, starting at the Twinkle tier ($4/month). Check out the tiers & choose one that suits your fancy! ::twinkle::

This, That, and the Other Thing. For reasons, I need to tweak my publishing plans for the rest of this year. The most pertinent bit is the necessary delay of Rhomiko and the Confirmed Bachelor. While the book is coming along *beautifully,* it’s mathematically impossible to for me to finish the first draft before my hoped-for release date. And pushing it off a few weeks would mean colliding with travel plans and holiday doings. SO! I’m officially changing my tentative release date for the final book in the Amaranthine Saga to … “Winter 2024.” Could be January. Could be February. Who can say? Once I know where we land, I’ll set up pre-orders and make the announcement.

One bright side to this adjustment is … I should be able to reveal the first book in my next/new series around the same time the Amaranthine Saga is wrapping up. That’d be ideal. And the breathing room is nice, too. Thank you, as always, for your patience. I’ll do my best to reward it.

Limited Editions. Kimiko and the Cycle of Moons has updated over on my Patreon with Ch1: “Daytrip,” because there were all those designs released by Junzi chocolates in honor of the fourth anniversary of the Emergence. (Enough to make a collector’s heart go pitty-pat.) And some of them were exclusive to different prefectures. Remember? ::twinkle::

Nearly There. As a nod to the day (it’s my 17th fanniversary), I planned to kick off Kimi2 today. The first chapter’s written, but I want to let it rest for a little bit, grab some food and coffee, and do a final editing pass before I post it to Patreon. As a reminder of what’s going on for Kimi & Quen, here’s a quote from Kimiko and the Accidental Proposal:

If THIS is the moment you’ve been waiting for … hey! It’s finally here! ::confetti toss::
For those of you who want to get in on everything from the start, patrons at the Twinkle tier ($4/month) will have access to this serialized story as it unfolds. Thank you for all the ways in which you support my storytelling. I appreciate it! forthright on Patreon >>
Coming Soon! I’m pleased to report that the Amaranthine Saga will have a Russian-language edition. The publisher recently showed me the cover, which features art by artovbros. Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox will release in October.

The publisher has contracted more of the series, so I imagine we’ll be seeing sexy Quen and sexy Ash soon(ish). As an added bonus, they’ve given me permission to use the cover art on next month’s art cards for Patreon. It’s all very exciting! ::confetti toss::

Narrated Edition. Bard and Barbarian has been posting slow and steady over on my Patreon account. Reading along is great, but supporters on some tiers can now listen along. New narrated chapters will arrive every other Wednesday, which means … there’s always something more to look forward to! Learn more about my Patreon here >>
