Rhomiko and the Confirmed Bachelor. If you need a place to react, confer, or kick up a fuss, this is the spot. I’ll enjoy your enthusiasm, I might be willing to clarify small points, but I reserve the right to evade questions that will be answered in other places. (Yes, there are still other places. Bear with me.) ::twinkle::
[[[WARNING: HERE THERE BE SPOILERS]]]
Work today – all of this week and last week really – has been nigh unbearable, and I just happened to glance down at my phone when the email popped up about book seven’s release date.
I had to carefully re-read it three times.
So. Much. HAPPY!!!
I cannot wait until it goes live, as I need the warm comfort of the Amaranthine Saga to de-stress my poor brain.
ALL the hugs to you, Forthright!!! I cannot thank you enough, or tell you how much your hard work means to this fan of your writings.
Thank you. Thank you so much!

goodness, the ones i love just keep showing up!! Every re-introduction is making my heart squeeze in the best way. Though the meeting of Sensei and Jacques again made it weep… i know things will be okay, but oof… that one hurt.
BUT the discovery of Sonnet’s return and the symmetrical knowledge of Jacques’ return brought back the warmth!! Loving so far!!!

Beautiful.
I love the way it ended as it began – with fox and faith.

I stayed up all night reading Tsumiko and the Enslaved Fox while on a business trip back in 2018 when I had to get up early that morning to help set up for a big meeting. No regrets. I stayed up all night again and like Rachel notes, it ended as it began. What a ride. I don’t know where to begin.
Outside of a geas, Argent apparently cannot be arsed to tie a tie properly. Him and Tsumiko expecting! Fend taking such good care of Timur and Stately House. The line about Kyrie being 200 years too young to take on the burden of killing his biological father really drove home how fiercely protective he is.
Isla saving herself from Senna while delivering such a sassy line. Her and Lapis in the armoire had me laughing out loud. Lapis courting her had me sighing like a hopeless romantic. Jacques and his brother interacting. Bon-bon joining the chaos by choosing his own seed. Kyrie with his winds and wings and siblings and forest. He’s grown so much.
Anjou being such a good papa and hearth keeper. Akira and Suuzu finally comfortable together. Ginkgo getting a 2nd tail and his own family with Snow and Pact. Hisoka kneeling before Argent and choosing purposefully the next stage of his life. Sinder coming forward with all the info to save the other children. All the seeds and the promises they contain. One comment cannot encompass it all. Thank you for sharing your stories with us.

What is this ‘Pressed Into Service’? Is it Linlu’s story? I need a summary and a release date!

Pressed into Service is the next short story in the Songs of the Amaranthine collection. ::eyebrow waggle::
No release date is set, but … it’s pretty dang cute. A contemporary this time. More soon!

I know you mentioned that there were issues in the release of Rhomiko on some platforms. I have the entire series from KOBO but the ebook of Rhomiko is not even mentioned there even as a pre=release. Is this something you are working to address? If there is no chance to get it on Kobo then I will buy it on Kindle but that makes remembering which book is where more difficult when I’m going back and rereading a series.

It will show up in other storefronts soon. Probably this coming week.

So I bought and listened to the book, whew so much to unpack. Is there a post or link where folks who are still waiting on the print book can chat about what we heard in the audio book? I have some questions and with out being able to see the words in print…I fear I may have missed a couple of things. Again we thank you Forthy for all your hard work. I have made fans of your work out of all of my immediate family. My Mom just joined the crew (she is a Meadowsweet fan) and we are going to get her on board with the Saga next. Hugs!!
