LMM 412: Splendid Acquisition

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the charismatic one.

Splendid Acquisition

Jacques stayed with Arnaud so Gilen could have a turn in Suuzu’s clutches. Josheb was queued up, and he offered his hand to Gilen. The American’s methods were very different from Jacques’ suavité, but Josheb commanded an audience in his own way.

“He would make a splendid acquisition.”

Michael hummed. “Too much a wanderer, don’t you think?”

“I’ll still mention it to Argent.”

Ever since Jacques brought home Sonnet, he’d been given carte blanche with regards to new hires.

“By the way, he wants you to tattoo him.”

Really?” Michael’s eyes took on a shine. “I’ll talk to Argent, too.”

  2. Jacques in charge! I love seeing this side of him. He is often hiding behind that playful flirty demeanor but when it comes to anything Stately House, he is all concern and business. He take that responsibility serious.
