LMM 390: Just Another Day

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one who was enjoying a day off.

“Wakey, wakey!” Jacques swept aside the drapes, mostly for the drama of it. “Show a leg, me boyos. Or more leg. Lord, are you getting taller, Suuzu?”

The phoenix had the world’s mildest glare. Barely creditable.

Jacques proceeded to steal blankets.

“Mmmornin’, Uncle Jackie.” Akira showed no signs of leaving the protective circle of Suuzu’s arms. “Whassup?”

“Andor’s special friend is here. Unofficially, of course.”
