Chapter 227: Emboldened

It felt good to confess. Turning the pages in her journal, Kagome hastily explained, “At first, there was so much orange and green. He was angry or irritable. And suffering. This shade of green was default for days.”

“But only at first?” Kohaku urged encouragingly.

He believed her! Emboldened, Kagome flipped more pages. “Pastels are closer to neutral, like the beginnings of a stronger emotion.”  

Kohaku gently touched her colored pencil spectrum. “And lately?”

“Blue means a good day. Yellows, too, since he’s amused. You know?”

“I did not know.” Kohaku smiled faintly. “What color do you see most, Kagome-sama?”

    I don’t know about Kagome, but when I see two people that are enamored with one another, I often get the image of Pepto Bismol pink swirling around them! I might just have to draw a humorous fan art for this. 😉
