“Inuyasha’s here. They went off together.” His smile held apology. “I used to help keep Rin warm, too.”
“That’s sweet.”
He glanced up. “Shishi says it’s a dog thing.”
Kagome couldn’t help giggling. “Are we being treated like puppies?”
“I am. Rin was. Maybe even Jaken-sama.” His smile turned teasing. “Not you, though.”
She blushed. “Erm… I’m not sure.”
When she tried to ease away, his arms tightened. “Kagome-sama, while he is away, may I ask a personal question.”
“S-sure?”
“What do you write in that book you always carry with you?”
