LMM 180: Understatement

Understatement

“Several wards have vanished in the vicinity of the third floor.” Michael’s smile turned apologetic. “While I try not to notice every little thing, I have a certain affinity for sigilcraft.”

“Understatement.”

“So I couldn’t help but notice that Argent’s new coral array is tuned to accept you.”

Jacques cautiously admitted, “There is a guest.”

“And there is a boy. My son Timur has a certain knack for wards. And for trouble.”

“Understatement?”
