Sesshoumaru did ease away. A little.
He looked so grim, but his stripes wavered between magenta and several kinds of purple. So he was probably mostly curious.
“Do it again,” he demanded.
“Think about me.”
“I am.” Really, it was hard not to, close as he was.
“It is not the same.”
Kagome sighed and tried, “Do you ever daydream?”
“Daydreams sort of wander… relying on imagination instead of intellect. So I was thinking about you, but I wasn’t thinking.”
Sesshoumaru quietly insisted, “You will try.”
