As Kagome blended colors, trying to capture the lovely blue-green shade of Sesshoumaru’s stripes, an idea presented itself. He’s beautiful.
A simple fact. Many youkai were striking. But she found his beauty appealing on a personal level.
Not that he would care.
Or notice, for that matter. It was almost like having a crush on an actor or a singer. Sesshoumaru was a feudal era idol who’d never know that she’d become his fan. It was a harmless attraction. Private feelings. Admiration from a safe distance. Ever unrequited.
But that “safe distance” vanished when he practically crawled into her lap.
