Chapter 181: Tormented

“Explain.”

She prodded a damp patch. “If drool is a torment, I’ll save you. We’re not moving on, right, Kohaku?”

“Not today. Nor tomorrow.”

“And we have clothes in our packs,” she reasoned.

Kohaku confirmed, “We do.”

“Perfect! I’ll do laundry!.” She bounced up and away, acting like she was doing them a favor by forcing them out of their clothes and into the spring.

“Don’t sulk,” she chided.

That riled him enough to murmur, “I do not sulk.”

Kagome laughed as if she knew better. And didn’t mind.

Which made it easier for Sesshoumaru to accept this fresh torment.

    I love your brain!
I love that you share it with us.
which means that I love you, seeing as how all of us humies are just a brain driving a meat vehicle.

  3. With the British, tea fixes everything and solves all problems(when I caught a hoof under the chin and got a flying lesson off my pony, the instructor got me to rinse out my mouth-I did end up losing that tooth-while she fixed me a cuppa. Best tea ever!). For Kagome, it’s a hot spring. Not sure which I like better.
