LMM 140: Fraternity

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially the one with a teasing nature.


“A tailor?” Jacques perked up in more ways than one.

Gingko was kind enough not to remark. “It was on your list of demands. Not sure why Dad’s so determined to fulfill them all. Try to relax.”

Jacques stared determinedly into the sky and slowed his breathing to match the rolling waves.

Sighing, Gingko muttered, “Unclench.”

This wasn’t so different from feline grooming. This was fellowship. This was fraternity.

There was more twisting, some tucking, and a light slap that only made matters worse.

“Arse.” But Jacques didn’t really mean it.

Gingko grinned and hollered, “Hey, Suuzu, come help me.”
