Chapter 130: Happy

Sesshoumaru watched with wary amusement as his brother made Kagome comfortable.

“I’m awake,” she protested.

“Yeah, yeah. Not saying otherwise.” Inuyasha stole her blanket, folding it into a pillow. “Just rearranging stuff. Don’t mind me.”

She succumbed, and he spread his haori over her, awkwardly patting her back even after she was deeply asleep.

He finally mumbled, “She seem… happy to you?”

“Hnn.”

“The thing with Kagome….” Inuyasha reached up to tug at an absent ear, then hunched his shoulders. “She gets really happy when she sees someone else being all… happy.”

“Hnn.”

Inuyasha cautiously asked, “Sesshoumaru, are you happy?”
