LMM 51: In the Closet

Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in this series of vignettes because the Amaranthine Saga is mine. (Which means I should probably behave myself since anything I say or do could be taken as canon.) Indulge the lot of us, especially for the one no longer forced to be neat.

Chapter Fifty-One: In the Closet

“We will amend your job description. In addition to whatever other ridiculous duties you have invented for yourself, you will attend to my wardrobe.”

Jacques gasped. “I get to dress you?”

“What are you thinking?” Argent rolled his eyes. “Rest assured, I can dress myself. However, you will choose attire appropriate to the occasion.”

So saying, Argent threw open the doors to a room catastrophique.

“This is your domain. Assemble, organize, and maintain a wardrobe suitable for public appearances. And when absolutely necessary, you will attend me during my travels.”

Surveying the wreckage of finery, Jacques whispered, “You… need me.”
