Rampant Speculation

Guesses & Hopes. By now, you know the Amaranthine Saga borrows elements from my fanfics (set-up and setting). I did this to make the series FUN for those of you who have read (and reread) my fandom tales. For the record, the entire series is planned, outlined, and the next few books are even in the pre-write stage (thanks, NaNoWriMo).  I know where I’m going, but I’d love to hear your guesses and hopes.

Which of my fanfics do you think should find their way into the Amaranthine story universe?

  1. I would like to see Clumsy. I can’t explain it, that story digs itself deeper into my thoughts with each read. Emotions rage on these:

*even when notions of a ‘woman’s place’ are put aside, they linger like cancer (she was Heir and powerful, yet still forced to marry to keep her status).

*love grows from trust and respect, key elements of successful relationships.

*The hardest to articulate bursts to the fore in chapters 67 and 72. Ohhhh the impact of trust! S just blossoms, all because K did NOT try to stifle S’s true self, something she obviously expected from go.

You do awful things yo me Forthy! I love it.

  2. I think that Unspoiled could work, the fact of *miko* being friends with older-looking Amaranthine, and the girl growing up and the Amaranthine staying the same.
I also agree that Lord Charming has a lot of potential. Tea for daysssss.

  3. I agree with what the others say, those are good choices too, but I wouldn’t mind seeing some version of Unexpected and a version of Faint Heart would be sweet too. There’s a little part of me that’d like to see Clutter too. There’s a part of me that thinks Unspoiled is going to be used but not in the way I think it’s going to be. I could see Lord Charming and Unspoiled somehow becoming one story.
