All Your Fault

I’m de-lurking since Vitreous was sweet enough to nudge me. ::group glomp:: I’ve missed you, my fandom friends! But you’re foremost in my mind. In fact, you’re the reason I’ve been so scarce since wrapping up Lord Charming. You see, I’m writing you a book.

Q. An original story? What’s it about, you wretched tease?
A. Can’t say. Not until it’s ready for readers.

Q. Okay, fine. When will that be?
A. Soon! I’m in the middle of the final plot arc of Book 1.

Q. Wait … first book? Is this a trilogy or something?
A. More of a series. At least five books. And several oneshot/novellas.

Q. Will you sneak me an advance copy?
A. As soon as the manuscript is off to the typesetter, I’ll enter the next phase of my ebil plan for (fictional) world domination … which will include (but may not be limited to) the following:

  1. Resume Clumsy.
  2. Pick up Savvy.
  3. Finish Imperceptible.
  4. Gather members for a spiffy street team.
  5. Print ARCs for reviewers (the aforementioned street team).
  6. Win your hearts with a story.

So … I’ll try not to slip back into lulling, but I’ll ask for a little more of your patience. And I’ll do my best to make it worth the wait. ::twinkle::

  1. Wretched tease indeed ;). Thanks for the update, very happy to know there’s more Forthright goodness coming soon. Let us know how we can preorder this book. Also, maybe Unexpected can be added to your to-do list pleeease?

  3. Thank you so much for the update! You’re so kind! ❤️ Also, it’s so exciting to hear about the upcoming book!! Congratulations!!! I’m so excited for you (and also for myself because this means that I’ll have a new and wonderful series to read soon)!! May I ask what stage it’s in (because I’m so excited to read it)? Do you have a release date yet? You’re probably at something like the post comp proof stage, but if you need an editor or even a proofreader, that’s actually what I do for a living and I’d be honored and overjoyed to lend you my services!!

  4. Somehow I believe that imperceptible is best left where it is. Because in the last chappie “Plummet” Kagome returns to her home and Sesshoumaru stands inside the Bone Eater’s Well alone. We certainly find to ask “what next?” but it also gives us something to think, keeps our minds reeling. But also it gives us a satisfaction of bittersweet love stories. So something is better left ambiguous. Well this is what I think.

Good luck for your original book. I will be waiting patiently for the updates.☺☺

  5. *ponders this…starts setting aside funds to purchase new original story when it’s ready, and every book after it in the series because addiction is inevitable* XD

  6. You don’t even KNOW how much I’ve been waiting for this. And don’t forget about Unexpected!!! I was thinking of your work while reading Matt Bird’s “The Secrets of Story.” You might find it as interesting as I did.
