Lord Charming Prompts

At the footer of every Lord Charming update, I record the original posting date, the writing prompt, and the word count. The notations are a relic of my involvement in everything from the IYFG & LJ contest communities to Dokuga’s Drabble/Drawble Nights. But ever since I started updating Lord Charming again, I’ve had nothing but a lonely “N/A” on the prompt line. Let’s change that.

Would you like to suggest a prompt for a future Lord Charming chapter? If I use it, I’ll credit you in the appropriate prompt line. Here’s what I need:

  1. A one-word prompt
  2. Your name/penname/preferred pseudonym

    (For everything that you put into your writing, I thank you the only way I can — with a message! 🙂
    I am wondering if you might ever, somehow, perhaps, let us know what published works you have? There is currently a dearth of quality writing on the bookstore shelves, as more and more outside influences overtake an author’s writing style on the publisher’s “importance” scale. Unless you are otherwise involved in publishing for your day job? I could be misinterpreting the signals. I so do enjoy the deep profundity that your concise statements often achieve (much similar to Ogawa Yōko’s writing, most eminently being her “The Housekeeper and the Professor”), but on the topic of RL, I hesitate to intrude upon.
    (Apologies for purple prose English and Oxford commas. My grammar doesn’t like to conform to English’s constricting rules when I am fatigued.)

    Well, I end my tangent with a reiteration of its beginning — thank you so much, forthright.

  22. I don’t know if you consider words that aren’t in English, but the word I wish to have used can’t be translated properly.

    So, here I give you: Lagom.
    A Swedish word that basically means ‘not too much and not to little, but the perfect amount’. Although, its sort of pressed together into a single word in the Swedish language. If you use this, then thank you (penname would be sovandeprins) but if not, I’m glad if you at least read this! : )

    After reading the latest chapter, I’d like to offer a two-word prompt that seems to be fitting in where I think the story’s going currently.
    Since Kagome has asked a young Shippo for his help, what would be better than the prompt of “Mischief Managed”?
    He does remind me, in his own way, of the Marauders from Harry Potter! 😉
