Perks of Patronage. For the month of June, I’ll be sending out the balance of a big book swag order. Last month, patrons at the appropriate tier received cover art for Interludes 1 & 2, and this month, you can add Interludes 3 & 4 to your collections. If you love snail mail, go take a look at what’s offered at each tier on my patreon. And don’t forget, we’re counting down to Kimiko and the Cycle of Moons, which will see it’s first chapter posting this fall! Lots of reasons to support my stories over thar.
Patreon Perks. Just a little show-and-tell. This month’s snail mail for patrons was a “promo pack,” which included swag cards for Amaranthine Interludes 1 & 2. (And an art card for Farley!)
Fun Fact: June’s mailing will include swag cards for Amaranthine Interludes 3 & 4. Methinks we have impending cover reveals. ::eyebrow waggle::
Patreon Perks. There’s so much happening right now, what with Suuzu and the Nine Nippets of Legend nearing publication, soon to be followed by Lord Mettlebright’s Man. And then there’s Farley (Journeymen of Stone, #1) by C.J. Milbrandt, which will release in about a month (5/23). The seventh (and final) book in the Amaranthine Saga is just a pile of word sprints right now, but I like the way things are shaping up. Aaand things are busy over on my Patreon, where Bard & Barbarian continues to update … and where peeks and perks abound. Which brings me to … April’s mailings.
April’s art card features Argent & Tsumiko, and the reverse includes the first official reveal of a new story. (This mailing went out to patrons beginning at the Dazzle tier.)
And April is a Quarterly Bubble Mailer month for qualifying tiers. Many (many, many) of you have asked about a certain set of bottles that first appeared in Bk2, Kimiko and the Accidental Proposal. Why, yes! They were significant. Still are. And if you have been very, very attentive, you might even know what could happen if someone were to uncork the other three. ::twinkle::
If you want a 4thy-blue bottle of your very own, there’s time to join the ranks of Beacons & Reliquaries to take advantage of the “courting tiers.” Uncork your wee giftie at your own risk! ::solemn wink::
Incentives Abound. After a week’s delay (printer error required a re-order), I’m pulling together January’s monthly mailing for my patrons. Here’s a small teaser because many of this year’s art cards will include story snippets. This one goes along with the art “Warm Enough?” There are a few days left in the month. Join at the appropriate tier, and you’ll have nice mail next week! ::twinkle::
Year of the Rabbit. As per tradition (this is the third year), I’ll be doing a Lunar New Year mailing for my patrons. Red envelopes and lucky coins have been secured, as have the USPS’s special stamps. One of the reasons I like to make a fuss is because the lunar new year coincides with the Emergence in the Amaranthine Saga (wolves, you know).
This mailing will go out in February and will be available to patrons starting at the Twinkle Tier. Automatic inclusion in this (and other) mailings kicks in at the Sparkle tier. You can look over your options here >>
Another reason I’m so pleased that it’s the Year of the Rabbit involves Bard & Barbarian. Along the way, Imber (my main character) has picked up five summons that we affectionately refer to as his “rabbity boys.” Look forward to chibi art & a guide to telling apart the Springheel crew! Here’s a teaser:
Lorem is such a sweetheart. ::twinkle::
Thank you for supporting me wherever my stories are found!
January’s Art Card. One of my “resolutions” for the new year involves my Patreon. I send out monthly mailings to thank supporters. In the past, I’d choose note cards or stationary that suited my mood for the month. This year, with my mailing list growing steadily, I’ve made the commitment to have cards printed every month. They’ll feature story-related art, book covers, etc. And most will incorporate book quotes or (like this month) an original story snippet.
For January, I wanted something in-character and cozy, so this month’s art card/story will feature two of the Five, longtime friends Harmonious Starmark & Lapis Mossberne. Teaser here. The full illustration is under the cut, so click for more! ::twinkle::
Halloween Treat. I’m currently prepping this month’s mailing for patrons. The cards are cute, and the enclosures are a treat. More information about tiers & their perks: forthright on Patreon >>
