Hidden Meaningfulness

“I’m Coop. Daroo says we’re the Cooper pack, since my dad’s in charge of us, but he’s a Clearsong.”

“Did your Clearsong packmate gave you your wolvish name?” asked Jiminy.

“Yeah.”

“Did he explain its meaning?”

“Yeah.” The beginnings of suspicions, especially when Torloo tried to hide his smile. “He said it’s as close as he could get to a direct translation. Why?”

“The Bramble Moon is referenced, but I don’t think it’s literal. It’s more… crashes through brambles.” Jiminy ventured, “Did you meet in a bramble thicket?”

“Umm… blackberries.”

Jiminy broke into the biggest smile. “He cherishes that moment.”

  2. Coop is my favorite. I’ve been in and out of the hospital twice in a little less that 4 weeks and I can’t tell you how much enjoyment I’ve had with Coop and Boniface. Thank you so much for a bit of sunshine on some not wonderful days.
