Singing of Names

Introductions took an interesting turn when the guy—who was human—identified himself as a wolf. He lit up when Torloo presented Coop, and his posture shifted.

Coop responded to it automatically.

A grin. A subtle adjustment. Asking permission.

Without hesitation, Coop took a receptive stance.

Then he was in a warm embrace and there was a nose at his throat, and Coop grabbed hold and did his best to rumble.

Mostly because they could, they introduced themselves in wolvish first. It was just… so great. “How’s that translate?”

“Cricket Moon. I’m Kourogi Foster, but my pack name is Jiminy.”

  2. love that these two have met!!! TT.TT They’re my favorite raised-by-wolves boys ❤

(and an aside for when the potential publish potential might maybe happen? In the books, you have it as Kourogi and here as Kuroki. An autocorrect perhaps?)
