A Better Introduction

Everyone’s attention bounced back to Torloo, which was the right idea. When in doubt about the Amaranthine, you’d best ask an Amaranthine.

In a calm, clear voice, Torloo spoke for the wolves. “Give us your attention and your trust, and you might yet forge a bond that will last your lifetime. We want a better introduction. But… I also think you should begin with apology.”

Most of the battlers were already in receptive postures, but they still looked really confused.

Coop had their backs. “It’s simple! Like this,” he called as he slid from Mutt’s back. And went full grovel.
