Coop looked down and didn’t see anything. “Umm. Freckles?”

Pierre circled. “Here, too!”

“Guys, is there a problem?”

They were studying his necklaces now. And his bracelets.

“Ankle?” proposed Giang.

“Oh, yeah. I have them on my ankles, too.” Coop pulled up the legs of his cargo pants—much comfier than reaver-style breeches—and showed off his collection.

“There! This one’s the anchor!” exclaimed Giang.

“But what about this?” muttered Pierre.

Coop tried to see which of Daroo’s gifts had caught their attention… and frowned. “Okay, that’s… not one of mine.”

He had no idea how it had gotten there.
