Patrolling sounded cool, but as far as Coop could tell, they were just taking a walk through the woods. Which probably meant that he actually patrolled with Daroo all the time.
Boon signaled for Coop to take the lead.
“You sure? My senses aren’t as sharp as yours.”
“True enough,” said Uncle Moon. “But each of us must guide new friends into the places we call home. It’s a courtesy.”
“Go ahead, kid. Show us around,” said Boon. “We’ll keep watch. Torloo, you get Coop his rabbits.”
“Okay, sure.” Taking a dominant posture, Coop said, “Let’s start with my kitchen.”
