Claimer: I do hereby claim all rights and responsibility for the characters in a certain boy’s adventures because the Amaranthine Saga & Songs are mine. Please continue to indulge the lot of us, especially the white collar wolf.

Coop kind of wanted to point out that her idea had been his first. Hadn’t he been the one to give Dad a wolf for Father’s Day? But it wasn’t a bad idea. Puppies were cute.

“Uh-oh. We took too long.” Coop nodded toward the wolf posted at the end of their driveway. “Beast looks like he needs a hug.”

Rose slid off the wagon, pink sandals flapping as she skipped ahead to greet her second dad, who usually only appeared in public as the Cooper family’s pet.

Because Beast was tame and obedient and trusted.

Because Amaranthine were feared.

  1. Definitely needed another dollop of Coop and the family. Bad storms Friday knocked out our power till possibly next Saturday! Gulp! Thank goodness for our generator. But we had the neighbors in for coffee this morning and they are coming back tomorrow. We get to be an oasis.

      • Power back on Monday. Drove to Memphis Tuesday to get our new fur baby. He’s adorable and already filling a very large hole in our hearts. Crews have got almost everyone back on power, they are our heroes. Especially in all this heat. 90+ deg. It’s been a wild week.
