LMM. I don’t usually do much on release days, since I’m a homebody & I’m usually up to my twinkles in “next things.” But yesterday was a happy exception, and the day was crowned by a trip into a fancy little gelato shop. Their flavors change daily, so I was especially pleased to find Jacques’ personal favorite amidst their offerings.

It’s kinda funny, because just last week, we were out-and-about and followed a billboard advertisement to a creamery, where I ordered bubblegum ice cream. ::twinkle::

I don’t have gelato often, but iced cream I have…a lot more since the demon kid loves it. Mostly I go for cookie dough or salted caramel (one scoop, with whipped creamed and jimmies), tho I’ll try most anything I’m not allergic to.

Oh those look wonderful! My SIL is the gelato master in the family. I grew up loving chocolate almond. Now I’ve switched to mostly Pistachio with occasional diversions to other Blue Bell delights. (Italian) Wedding cake is YUM.

Lemon if Sorbet, Mango if Gelato and Choc Mint if Ice Cream. I’ve been trying to find Old English Toffee which was a favourite as a kid from the local Ice Creamery. No one seems to make it anymore, though some Ben and Jerry’s flavours have a similar mouthfeel.
Probably a scoop of Mango and Salted Caramel from this lot. It looks delicious.
