“No, but you like babies.”
“I suppose I do.” Jacques arched his brows, sure there was more.
Kyrie asked, “Are you going to visit Timur?”
“There are many other people he’d be far happier to see.”
“You do not think you could cheer up Timur?”
“I haven’t seen him since he was, what… fourteen? We’re practically strangers.”
“Are you feeling shy about him?”
“Lord, I don’t know. Do you really think he’d want his gay uncle dropping by? We can’t have much in common.”
Kyrie pointed out, “You like babies.”
