When Kagome’s thoughts were on him, they unlocked a captivating warmth, a comfort he intended to savor. Her daydreams were different, stirring his blood and stroking his ego. But this new sensation intrigued him. She seemed to be searching for alignment.

Could they? What would happen if they did?

Taste might help, especially if blood was involved, but another option presented itself.
