Chapter 184: Calm

Sesshoumaru wasn’t thinking about anything in particular when he realized she was absent.

He didn’t even hesitate.

Tracking her was easy.

Moving was not.

Adjusting his height amidst the brush, he gained confidence and speed in equal measure, intent on reaching her before anything else could. She sat alone, writing in that small book of hers, a fan of colored sticks at her side.

Settling opposite, he closed his eyes, catching his breath and focusing on the variations in her scent. Was she calm because he was here now? Or was he calming because she was calm?

Did it matter?

  2. So…. I started reading this particular fanfic on FF.net, but I noticed it wasn’t updated as frequently, and I just needed to keep going, so I came over here, and I’ve catched up and I’m just so… I love the story and wish there was more. I’ll try to figure out the whole deal over here, to be up to date with the story. I love it, thank you again for giving us your time and awesome brain with this and all the other stories.
