Book Three. It’s been fun to hear a bit of buzz already starting with the announcement of the next book in the Amaranthine Saga—Tamiko and the Two Janitors.
In doing her part for world peace, she puts
one crosser’s whole world at risk.
Conspiracy theories, werewolf scares, and protest rallies have hampered the peace process in America, where social and political unrest keep most Amaranthine from declaring themselves. Those not in seclusion rely heavily on illusion to mask their true nature.
As the newly appointed principal of a small elementary school, Tamiko Reaverson is doing her part for world peace. She rallies her community’s support and applies for Hisoka Twineshaft’s school revitalization project, which will bring Amaranthine to her hometown. Little does Tami realize that Fletching was founded by one of the oldest and largest urban enclaves in the United States. And two of her staunchest supporters—janitors at her school—share a secret neither wants exposed.

I know – I just wonder about other plot threads that crossed over between our two Japanese Mikos. Also I just want to cuddle Lapis. He needs all the cuddles. I hope he gets all the cuddles.

The summary sounds a bit familiar to a certain favorite story of mine that has never been finished… coincidence?

Not a coincidence, but neither will this be a re-hash of Unexpected. I merely borrowed a few things and gave them an Amaranthine twist.
…which means I’ll actually have to go back and finish that fanfic one day, because it’s an entirely different story.

Hdcjosnsufiiwiddh SO excited!!! Both to see how this story will go, with the difficulties of the Emergence in America and to see how this Miko will differ from the others, as WELL as to find out you may still finish Unexpected. Double the treats!! But yes, I agree with comments above, July is too far away!!!

I love the idea for this one, and that it takes place in a completely different country with different norms and politics! This will also be the first one I have not studiously read the fanfic for, so I’m excited to see how it plays out without me picking up on references or looking for similarities between the plot and characters.
Also, as a reader July feels hella far away, but as a writer I’m so impressed that you can pump out quality content like you do while still sprinkling us with fanfics and blog content. You truly amaze me. 🖤

I’m so excited! I love that it doesn’t take place in Japan. The Emergence is important in all the world, it wouldn’t make sense that everything of relevance happen in Japan
