With a wordless exclamation of anguish, Inuyasha sank to his knees beside Ah-Un’s corpse. No wonder the bastard made sure Naraku took that hit.
Sesshoumaru had hidden his entourage in a flowery vale. They hadn’t been vulnerable—the imp was armed, the dragons formidable—but they’d been found. Miasma reeked. Flies buzzed. It was butchery. Fragile lives cruelly snatched. Beyond all hope of rescue.
The kid groaned.
Inuyasha rushed to his side, touched his shoulder. “You okay?”
“No.” Kohaku’s face was tragic as he gently removed the staff from Jaken’s stiff hand.
Brushing Rin’s ashen cheek, Inuyasha mumbled, “Me, either.”

I hope you died a very painful death, and I am glad you didn’t get to have that final piece of peace that Kagome gave to you in the anime because you suck. Lemme repeat that, you SUCK. You basically just killed both Sango and Sesshoumaru’s families in one go! And…and…Rin can’t come back. She’s already cheated death twice, so Sesshoumaru has lost her forever now. Sweet little Rin….poor Sesshoumaru is going to be so devastated….
