December Mailings

Patrons and Perks. I’ve been away for a few weeks, being a semi-adventurous traveler, but now that I’m safely home & settling in for holiday shenanigans, I’m catching up. Some of the boxes that awaited my return held the art cards for December. This month’s regular mailing features art by Mart on a lovely linen paper. It’s the first in what will be a set of four commissions, and patrons have the chance to collect them all.

Dichotomy Day is nearly upon us, and that means there’s also a Quarterly Art Card mailing. This time around, I chose another lettered piece by Asha, and for the first time, I splurged on gold foil. The results have given some serious shine to her favorite quote from Kimiko and the Accidental Proposal.

I’ll also mention that it’s “courting comb” season. This year’s selection features a phoenix. Those go out in January, but in order to qualify for the mailing, you’ll need to be at the appropriate tier (beacon or reliquary) for both December and January. So now’s the time to make that leap. Quantities are limited, and I do have a few leftovers from past year’s combs (fox, dragon, chrysanthemum).

Many thanks to everyone who supports my storytelling in such practical ways. I’m grateful. Always.

Quarterly Bubble Mailers

Amaranthine Bookmarks. Recent arrivals include a set of bookmarks that we’re tasseling for patrons. Bookmarks for 1-4 are going out this month in Quarterly Bubble Mailers. Are you a bookmark person?

The set borrows from the spine ornamentation, since each design is unique. And on the flipside, we’re including each book’s tagline. We’ll complete the set for a future mailing. ::twinkle::

April Mailings

Patreon Perks. There’s so much happening right now, what with Suuzu and the Nine Nippets of Legend nearing publication, soon to be followed by Lord Mettlebright’s Man. And then there’s Farley (Journeymen of Stone, #1) by C.J. Milbrandt, which will release in about a month (5/23). The seventh (and final) book in the Amaranthine Saga is just a pile of word sprints right now, but I like the way things are shaping up. Aaand things are busy over on my Patreon, where Bard & Barbarian continues to update … and where peeks and perks abound. Which brings me to … April’s mailings.

April’s art card features Argent & Tsumiko, and the reverse includes the first official reveal of a new story. (This mailing went out to patrons beginning at the Dazzle tier.)

And April is a Quarterly Bubble Mailer month for qualifying tiers. Many (many, many) of you have asked about a certain set of bottles that first appeared in Bk2, Kimiko and the Accidental Proposal. Why, yes! They were significant. Still are. And if you have been very, very attentive, you might even know what could happen if someone were to uncork the other three. ::twinkle::

If you want a 4thy-blue bottle of your very own, there’s time to join the ranks of Beacons & Reliquaries to take advantage of the “courting tiers.” Uncork your wee giftie at your own risk! ::solemn wink::

Do you enjoy mail?

Patreon Teaser. Just in case you didn’t know, one of the perks my patrons receive is good old-fashioned mail. And more and more, I’ve been having cards printed with art, book quotes, and even original story snippets. While I can’t exactly mail out moonbeams for everyone, July’s mailings are Churlish-themed. You see, my topmost tiers will be receiving Quarterly Bubble Mailers this month (“contents subject to whim”), and I decided on custard cups and silver spoons.
