Bard & Barbarian

The hiatus is over! Travis Baldree is back, kicking off Part 3 of Bard & Barbarian, my serialized DnD-inspired fantasy adventure. ::confetti toss::

Narrated Edition. Bard and Barbarian has been posting slow and steady over on my Patreon account. Reading along is great, but supporters on some tiers can now listen along. The story is being narrated by Travis Baldree. Ch70, “Horse Market” just went live for those in qualifying tiers. AND Ch66, “Clash of Cataclysms” has unlocked for the Twinkle and Sparkle tiers.

Bookends by Kristelle Studio

A while back, I was contacted by an overseas artist who wanted to create something special for the Amaranthine Saga. Bookends, sure. But also these bookshelf windows, which include three-dimensional acrylic characters. We chatted about design elements and appropriate imagery.

Ginkgo leaves and forget-me-nots are seen throughout the series. My set of bookends arrived this week!

Lunar New Year

January’s Mailing. I’m in the middle of prepping my monthly mailing for patrons. The Year of the Snake is oncoming, and as per tradition, I’m sending out red envelopes and lucky coins.

Behind the Scenes

Do you like extras? While I’ll make announcements & post final art here on the blog, there’s a whole lot more going on behind the scenes. I’ve been posting artist thumbnails and sketch peeks and insights into the people and places in my new series. The thing is, they’re posting on Patreon. For instance, here are some of my main character Varti’s expressions, which will be part of his character sheet. Mart Lett, my illustrator, will be creating them for several of the folks (and Folk) in Folk-Spelled.
