Bird Feeder
After a few hours, Coop was getting pretty hungry, but he was having too much fun to mention it. Still, he was glad when Jiminy’s tour swung back towards its starting point.
“One more quick stop.” Jiminy started up a fire escape on the side of his building. “I think you’ll love our bird feeder!”
In a rooftop garden, café tables were arranged under heavy-duty porticos. Huge planters with trees created shady patches… and perches.
Really, they were all perches.
For the birds.
Coop gaped as a couch-sized cardinal backwinged, landing beside a bright-eyed chickadee the size of an armchair.
