“Students’ courses are guided by reavers with the same specialization.”

“I learned about the color-coded tunics,” Coop shared. “I made friends with some wards.”

Jiminy’s posture shifted. “Are you putting in a good word for them?”

“Should I?”

“Connections have a way of bringing opportunities.”

“Then yeah, Giang and Pierre are great guys.” Coop didn’t know their surnames. “Is that enough to go on?”

“Sure. They may already be spoken for, but if they’re not, they’ll be thanking you.”

“How come?”

“Hardly anyone gets in without a recommendation.” Jiminy tapped something into his phone. “They’ll be glad your paths crossed.”
