White Barn
When Coop caught up to Jiminy, he’d reached one of the white barns. “Here we go! You’re more into wolves, right? Let’s see who’s around.”
This Kith shelter was bigger than the others. Huge as a super store, but cozier and warmly lit by dozens of skylights. It reminded Coop of a stable, except arched entrances led into dozens of dens, creating an urban wolf neighborhood.
Half a dozen wolves streaked by, and Coop hurried to peer down a wide track. “It rings the whole building?”
“They’d be climbing the walls if we didn’t make room. Wolves need to run.”
