Torloo was the most obvious, since he had a tail, but Shilah’s claws and ears should’ve been hard to miss.
“It’s mostly squirrel trickery. Sigils interfere with perception, and people mentally move on as they walk by. There are more complicated illusions for Amaranthine who need to interact with humans.” Jiminy paused on the sidewalk. “There’s a really complex illusion right here.”
Coop frowned up at a brick wall. Something had to be on the other side. He just hadn’t given it any thought. Sneaky. “So there’s a door here?”
“A huge gate.” Jiminy beamed. “Welcome to the reaver track!”
