Coop thanked Mrs. Woodacre, then crammed one last piece of gingerbread in his mouth before following Jiminy out into a bright summer day. With all its historical buildings and statues and fountains, Fletching was way more impressive than Pine Hall, but Coop didn’t think that made it better.
College students were coming and going from buildings that Jiminy said held classrooms. “Bellwether has a summer semester,” he explained. “We host summer courses, too.”
There were a lot of polite head bobs whenever they passed someone, and Coop finally realized why it was strange. “Hey, how come people aren’t staring at Torloo and Shilah?”
