Wait and See
Jiminy placed a call and explained to Dad. Daroo loomed into view behind him and said, “We’d be grateful, Jiminy.”
Dad firmed his stance. “I hope it works.”
Permission granted.
Coop’s anticipation soared. “Guess I’m your guinea pig.”
For the next hour, Jiminy drew lines in midair, and there was a new necklace to wear, this one with a sun-kissed stone.
“There!” he finally exclaimed.
“Is it done?” Coop glanced around.
“Probably not,” cautioned Jiminy. “This is all very experimental, so we’ll have to wait and see.”
Coop didn’t like to wait, but he could. Especially if it meant seeing.
