“Not sure yet. I’ll sleep on it. In the meantime, focus on enjoying the things you can see and do.” He angled his head significantly. “They shouldn’t be taken for granted.”
Coop stole an arm around Torloo, who’d taken truest form.
And Shilah huddled close, stubbornly refusing to leave his side.
Star-bright crystals above, warm fur all around, Coop wasn’t taking anything for granted. Or anyone.
