Sneaky Entrance
Coop loved that Jiminy’s workroom had a sneaky entrance into a den. “I wish I had something like this at home!”
Shilah snorted. “You have Daroo’s den.”
“That’s true.” For Jiminy’s sake, Coop explained. “The Clearsong den is on our property. Nobody ever knew about it, since it’s obscured by barriers.”
“What scale?” Jiminy found a map. “How many anchors?”
Coop didn’t know. It couldn’t be that big.
But then Torloo pointed, and Jiminy whistled.
And Coop had to rethink things. What was keeping a clan of healers like Vinca close… and left a coyote like Shilah indebted to Daroo?
