Folk-Spelled Print Editions

This Just In! My print proof arrived, and it’s perfect! The print editions have been green-lighted, so they’ll be showing up in virtual shopfronts for everyone, everywhere. Order at your leisure. Or ask for them at your favorite bookstore. They’ll be able to order them in. Same goes for libraries.

I unboxed:

At nearly 500 pages, it’s kind of a chonk. One thing the print edition has that the digital edition lacks is … the illustrated back cover:

Interiors are wonderful, and they have just the right vibe, printed as they are on “eggshell”-hued groundpaper, which is light and fluttery when you fan through the book. I’m so happy!

I placed an initial book order for those of you who are looking forward to author-signed copies. They usually arrive in a couple of weeks. I’ll be taking pre-orders & working on mailing labels in the meantime. I’m sticking to the $27 price tag, which includes shipping in the US. International orders always end up costing more (usually double), so check with me if you plan to splurge. More details on the Signed Books page.

To preserve your privacy, please email me (don’t leave your personal information in comments). My email address is always.forthright at gmail dot com. And here’s what I need from you:

  1. The name you want on the bookplate. (I do a decorative flyleaf thingie.)
  2. The name & address I’ll be shipping to. (Post office requires a real first/last name.)
  3. Your payment via Zelle, PayPal, or Amazon giftcard. They’re each attached to different email addresses, so double-check with me, please.

I’ll be posting more pictures when the book boxes arrive!
