“I wasn’t aware there were humans running with the Elderbough pack.” Gabe asked, “What’s your classification, Coop?”
“American…? Or… do you mean my pack. We’re kinda different. Homeschoolers.”
Torloo explained, “Coop is not a reaver. He saved my life, so we share a bond.”
“Well, now!” The old man’s gaze turned thoughtful. “Would you like to take the same courses as others your age? I see no reason to bar your participation.”
“I need to go to reaver school while I’m here?” checked Coop.
“Not necessarily, but lessons are useful and often fun. Most amount to games.”
“Okay, then. Sure!”
