Big Decision
Conversations would start up and stop depending on Coop’s proximity, so he took to the woods, giving Dad space to do dad things. Torloo’s parents were at least as protective, which led to questions and stories and a fair amount of sniffing. Normal stuff.
Then Torloo woke up, and Dad bought a couple of cases of ground beef.
Boon helped Daroo fill ice chests with drinks. They put on the baseball game. And sometime between flipping burgers and the seventh inning stretch, Torloo slowed down enough to listen to his dad, who slipped into an extra polite posture.
