Kitchen
Boon scanned the Cooper family’s outdoor kitchen. “Nice setup.”
“Yeah, It’s the best.” Coop loved feeding people. Usually Daroo.
Whenever their wolf woke from a long sleep, he’d be ravenous. Dad would load the grill with steaks and burgers, a huge feast that about broke the budget—not really, but Dad always joked—and only took the edge off Daroo’s hunger.
So he’d hunt. Like Torloo was going to, alongside Boon.
“Daroo never takes any of the deer,” Coop warned.
Torloo’s posture shifted, and he beckoned for further instruction.
“Pheasant, grouse, but especially rabbit.” Coop promised, “You’ll love my stew.”
