“The first, I guess.” Coop rolled his eyes. “It’s not like I’m going anywhere.”
“Because you can’t? Or because you don’t want to?”
Daroo could be such a lawyer at times, but thinking things through was easier with a little cross-examination. “I like living in a place where humans and Amaranthine are at peace.”
“Big words. One wolf.”
